Mariska is a certified infant massage instructor and paediatric consultant, and a member of IMIS. As a former maternity nurse she has great affection for infants and loves teaching parents and seeing them grow in confidence.

FAQ’s
Is your baby brain still active? Don’t worry, strokes are taught a little at a time to ensure you gain confidence with the technique and to gradually build up your baby’s tolerance levels. You will get a manual to take home with you and you can purchase a DVD to practice in between session.
How old before I can start massaging? You can massage from day one. Older babies up to 12 months are welcome too. Got a toddler? You can bring them along or choose to find a baby sitter so you can have one on one time with your new born.

Group Classes
Join our groups class and get an in dept understanding and skilled in full body baby massage techniques the baby massage course.
Group classes provide an opportunity to connect with other parents and share the journey of motherhood.
Groups are kept small to max 4-6 mums/dads & baby.
Classes run over a 3 week period.
3 x 1 hour sessions – 6 parents maximum – Total costs $ 75.00 per person
New group classes dates:
Epping: starting Tuesday 14 February – 28 February 2023.
Central Coast (Phegans Bay): starting Monday 20 February – 6 March 2023.
Due to the instructors maternity leave from April 2023, no other 2023 classes are run. The next group course will be held February 2024. The private course is offered until March 2023.

Private Course
Baby massage training one on one, tailored to your baby needs in the comfort of your own home. We go through the full course over 2 sessions at your home in one-on-one setting.
Great option for couples that like to do this together. This is also an alternative for parents with special needs baby, premature babies coming home or women with postnatal depression

Information Workshop
This 1 hour information workshop gives your the basics of baby massage. We go into the following topics
- Why ask permission to your baby for a massage?
- Appropriate oils to use on infants and children
- Recognizing cues for massage time and stress signals during massage
- Best time to massage and how long and how often
- Contraindications for baby massage
- Demo of a full body massage routine and correct pressure to use – legs, belly, chest, back, arms and face.
This event can be booked on location, as a speaker for a group or as a information workshop. The minimum number of participants is 8.
